Vietnam β Day 4: Sunrise on Ha Long Bay & Journey to Central Vietnam
The day begins early, as soft morning light spreads across Ha Long Bay. Step onto the deck for sunrise views, where the limestone formations emerge gently from the mist β calm, quiet, and unforgettable.
For those interested, a short Tai Chi session on the sundeck is offered, followed by breakfast served onboard. The cruise continues through quieter parts of the bay, offering a final opportunity to enjoy the scenery from your cabin or deck.
Late morning includes a brief excursion, such as a small cave visit or island stop, before the cruise slowly makes its way back to the marina. Brunch is served as you sail, allowing you to enjoy the last moments on the water.
Disembark by late morning, where your pre-arranged transfer awaits for the return journey to Hanoi. Travel by luxury shuttle or private car (approximately 2.5β3 hours) back to the city.
Upon arrival in Hanoi, youβll be transferred directly to the airport for your onward flight to Da Nang International Airport (DAD). Domestic flights take approximately 1 hour 20 minutes and operate frequently throughout the day.
On arrival in Da Nang, a private hotel transfer or Grab taxi (30β45 minutes) brings you to Hoi An, a beautifully preserved ancient town known for lantern-lit streets and riverside charm.
Check in to Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai [Check Availability and Rates Here ] or a luxury boutique resort nearby. Settle into your villa and take the evening to rest β perhaps a walk along the beach or quiet time by the pool.
Dinner is kept relaxed and close to your resort, allowing you to recover from the travel day and prepare for a slower, more atmospheric pace ahead.
Β Travel Tip:
Choose a mid-afternoon flight from Hanoi to Da Nang to avoid rushing. Keep essentials in your carry-on for easy transitions between cruise, road transfer, and flight.
